On to day two of my posts on Enchanted Polish Love A Lot Of Glitter Collection. I just LOVE heart shaped glitter - and even in red? To die for. Tenderheart is full of them:

My nailpolish watering hole has a small rack of teeny weeny Bourjois nailpolish bottles on display. They looked like toy nailpolish and I had to bring home the one or the other bottle. For comparison have a look at this mini baby next to a normal sized bottle of Opi:
I had surprisingly little issues applying polish with the equally miniature brush - the formula is excellent and is opaque in one coat.
And I also layered one coat of Tenderheart over a light base color. This is one medium coat of Contrary Polish Frozen.

For both versions I applied Essence XXL Nail Thickener as Base Coat.
Final thoughts: I just have a knack for heart or star shaped glitters in a polish. The formula of Tenderheart is also thickly but easy to apply. I just had to fish for the heart glitters but that was a rather easy and fast exercise. It certainly helped that I put the bottle upside down for a couple of minutes prior to application. As with Freeze Machine, this glitter is absolutely unique in my stash and I am smitten with it.
And a picture of our furball Nell cuddling his new catnip lamb (for a mouse it definitively is too big ;-))
How do you like heart shaped glitters? And what do you think of Tenderheart?
I ordered Tenderheart with Harlow & Co.
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine
This is very pretty too!
ReplyDeleteOh, your kitty is adorable!!
Thank you Ina xxx - and his furry Highness is (of course) our über spoiled baby, despite his 8 years - LOL
DeleteYour kitty is so cute! Aww! <3
ReplyDeleteI like heart-shaped glitters... they're fun and pretty! But I'm awful at fishing out glitters, so it takes me a while if I wear these shaped glitters to get them onto the nails. :-)

Thank you Yun xxx!!! I found them hard to get out of the bottle too, until I started to let one or two drops of polish fall on a sheet of paper and pick the hearts from there - I discovered this of course by accident spilling polish on my table and not wanting to "waste" it by just cleaning up ;-P
DeleteHi pet!
ReplyDeleteI've been so buzy and missed out on commenting on so many of your posts.. But I read them every day! :)
I'd like to see this polish on a darker shade. I think it would look great!
And your furball is adorable!! Sooo cute! <3
I have a furball to :D Smilla almost ten years old <3
xxx
My dear Jezz, I am feeling so touched that you took the time to go back through my posts and commented so sweetly on them, I hope they gave you an enjoyable quick break in your hectic days <3!!!! Thank you for the suggestion - I will work on a post by the end of the week then - ok? And are you ok, if I then post a link to your Blog? Nell sends you his flattered purrs - he is tired of winter and longs roam his little universe outside ;-). I guess Miss Smilla brightens your days as much as Nell does mine (mostly) - take care xxx
