A Greentastic Week: Koh Colours! Rain Forest



This week will all be about green nailpolish. I love blue, purple, red and GREEN nailpolish! So let's take a sneak peak at some of those pretties!!!

Sheila from the Pointless Cafe has shown the awesome Koh Colours! Rain Forest on her Blog a while ago and I could not get it out of my head anymore. My hubby generously sponsored me some exclusive nailpolish for Christmas - hence the relief to my obsession with Rain Forest happily came to an end. Koh Colours! seem difficult to find in Switzerland but I found one shop in Basel, Parfümerie Hyazinth , that offers a small stock of them.

I applied two coats of Koh Colours! Rain Forest over Butter London Nail Foundation and used Butter London Hardwear as Top Coat. The polish appears thin when looking at it in the bottle but it is highly pigmented and has awesome selflevelling qualities. I don't know if it is about the Topaz in their formula or what other magic Koh Colours! does in their labs but I cannot remember having ever used such a thin though pigmented polish before.

I bought Koh Colours! Rain Forest with Parfümerie Hyazinth. They offer a small stock at their wonderful shop.

    Oh, Christine! this is a green pearl! no wonder why you wanted it so much, it has the most amazing golden shimmer and it sounds like applying it was a dream. Looks so sophisticated on you!
    I never tried this brand before, I was sure it was not distributed in Switzerland!

      Thank you Vicky!!! Oh bummer, but while I do have access to a small range they are too pricey for my taste, so I admire them from far and keep this in my treasure cove ;-)

    You lucky duck! Koh's got some amazing colors, as you've clearly demonstrated :) This is lovely! Again, your DH did good ;). And I can't wait to see what else you've got in store this week. I love my vampies and reds, but I've got a soft spot for greens.
