This week will all be about green nailpolish. I love blue, purple, red and GREEN nailpolish! So let's take a sneak peak at some of those pretties!!!
Sheila from the Pointless Cafe has shown the awesome Koh Colours! Rain Forest on her Blog a while ago and I could not get it out of my head anymore. My hubby generously sponsored me some exclusive nailpolish for Christmas - hence the relief to my obsession with Rain Forest happily came to an end. Koh Colours! seem difficult to find in Switzerland but I found one shop in Basel, Parfümerie Hyazinth , that offers a small stock of them.
ugh for my skin color but this photo shows how special this Rain Forest looks in artificial light
and the above two pictures are take non daylight
I applied two coats of Koh Colours! Rain Forest over Butter London Nail Foundation and used Butter London Hardwear as Top Coat. The polish appears thin when looking at it in the bottle but it is highly pigmented and has awesome selflevelling qualities. I don't know if it is about the Topaz in their formula or what other magic Koh Colours! does in their labs but I cannot remember having ever used such a thin though pigmented polish before.
Have you tried any Koh Colours!?
I bought Koh Colours! Rain Forest with Parfümerie Hyazinth. They offer a small stock at their wonderful shop.
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine
This is really pretty! Nope, never tried this brand. You have me curious:)
ReplyDeleteThank you Essie xxx!!! Sheila from Pointless Café has posted on a couple of them with excellent (and far more professional) descriptions!!!!
DeleteOh, Christine! this is a green pearl! no wonder why you wanted it so much, it has the most amazing golden shimmer and it sounds like applying it was a dream. Looks so sophisticated on you!
ReplyDeleteI never tried this brand before, I was sure it was not distributed in Switzerland!
xx
Thank you dear Nati <3 we seem to have been tuned on pearls today then. If you have a spare moment I suggest to take a look at the link I have posted - Parfümerie Hyazinth is awesome and also distributor of some very exclusive scents!!!
DeleteReally pretty! Love the shimmer! I haven't tried this brand yet :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Ina :-) Koh Colours! offers quite a range of special shades, I am sure you would love the one or the other ;-)
DeleteLove this shade on ya Christine !! Nope I can't get my hands on this brand :(
ReplyDeleteThank you Vicky!!! Oh bummer, but while I do have access to a small range they are too pricey for my taste, so I admire them from far and keep this in my treasure cove ;-)
DeleteYou lucky duck! Koh's got some amazing colors, as you've clearly demonstrated :) This is lovely! Again, your DH did good ;). And I can't wait to see what else you've got in store this week. I love my vampies and reds, but I've got a soft spot for greens.
ReplyDelete:-) I really am :-) thank you Liesl. And I am so exited that you like my theme - I hope I will show so some more that you like. And ach the vampies and reds, I would rather leave any other color behind than my darks and reds!!!
