We have not done any green glitters yet. This is Naild'it Unique Vegas Sands, a matte multi colored small glitter polish with mostly light grass green and some magenta and turqoise glitter particles and even some yellows in a clear base. I find this such a happy and fun polish - just the right dose of color to brighten up dark days in January.
The above two photos are taken in daylight, the following two in artificial light. And yes, I agree, while the polish looks stunning my skin tone does not really appreciate artificial light :-S
Shown here are two coats of Naild'it Unique Vegas Sands over one coat of Essie Mojito Madness. I used Butter London Nail Foundation as Base Coat. The formula is excellent and a piece of cake to apply. I lately developped a knack for textured finishes so I left this beauty unadorned ;-)
I really grew very fond of Naild'it Unique polishes, much to my astonishment I have not seen a lot of posts on them. I certainly will buy more of them!!!
Can you think of another base color for this? Or would you stick to various shades of green?
I bought my Naild'it Unique polishes with Llarowe .
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine
You've got such an awesomely unique collection of greens! This colorblocked week is a great idea! This one looks like Floam with red (which automatically makes me like this one better :) ). I'm not creative with combining base colors and glitters at all, lol, but this might be kind of fun over a red or cranberry foil.
ReplyDeleteHi Liesl, thank you dear xxx!! I don't know what it is with Green and me but this color makes me just happy :-). I will then continue with colored themed weeks frequently - I actually have qued up another bluesome week to make an appearance soon ;-). And your idea is awesome, I have a metallic foil nearly cranberry - will add a picture on Sunday in my NOTDS!!!! Thanks for the wonderful idea - so unique, I would have never thought of this myself!!!
