Nire's Desire Techno Collection Phase Two: Drowning

Have you yet experienced that while you are still deeply fond of a particular color of nailpolish, you sort of end up hardly putting it on your nails? This is exactly what happened to my beloved blues. They still hold the biggest part in my personal Olymp of personal favorites but as of late, I rarely wore any of them. Nire's Desire Drowning just came on time to resurrect my longing for this color on my nails. Drowning is the perfect bright, mid-tone blue that comes with the same soft turquoise/red holo as Pleasure Island. Sadly the sun disappeared for good in the middle of my photographing so I only have two pictures for you:



I applied two coats of Nire's Desire Drowning over my regular Base Coat. I have to state that I am impressed at the continuously great formula of all Techno Collection Phase Two polishes - Drowning as well goes on creamy and highly pigmented. And boy, was that easy to control!!! Just a pleasure - oh and no tiptoeing around coat No 2 - no tendency to drag, pool or clump. Just go with thin layers and a light hand and you get a wonderful result.

Final thoughts: I am so happy to finally have jumped again into the blue-pool!! Nire's Desire Drowning is such a perfect year around shade with its vibrant yet not eye searing blue!!

    Blue is definitely your colour Christine! I am totally mesmerized with your pictures, as usual.
    Frankly, you kooked me into a blue fever a while ago, and it is right, I could not be considered a "blue polish gal" now is the third colour in my collection! You're like a siren tempting me, hahaha.

    UGGGGHHH!! Look at it!! Are you looking?? Of course you are!! :P So pretty...but that name!! I don't think I could take it!! I'm severely hydrophobic. I can handle a shower, and that's it. Anyway, I'll not think about drowning anymore. That's better. This polish is crazy beautiful.

      Oh dear, I had no idea!!! :-o!! I was big on swimming for many years of my life (how very boring, no? My parents forced me to it). But lets get over the biography and go to presence: thank you Melissa and I never associated the name with water but I felt like drowning in this color ;-)
