Twinsie Post with The Polish Owl: Takko Lacquer Kiss the Sky

If you are a regular reader of my Blog you probably know that I am friends with Radha from the Polish Owl. She is one of the most supportive, quirky and sweet girls out there and never gets tired to encourage me. Recently I dipped my nails into new e-shop land by ordering FINALLY from Mei Mei's Signatures . This was a long nurtured wish of mine but I was afraid to loose control over my shopping cart - LOL!!! To make the long story short: Radha treated herself with some Takko Lacquers and I caved ;-). Both of us just LOVE Takko Lacquer Kiss the Sky, and Radha being the spontaneous and open lovey I got to know she immediately jumped to the idea of a Twinsie Post - thanks love <3!!!

I really had no time to redo my nails completely so I just applied one coat of Kiss the Sky over my existing mani with Passe Nati Olho Turco

Kiss the Sky is sheer but has a perfect consistency. And look at this shimmer, looks like anything out there multiplied by X!!! Kiss the Sky dries down to a satin finish which really brings out its myriads of sparkles over the dark shimmer of Olho Turco.

I finished the look with one coat of Vefic Top Coat and look:

Yes, you see correctly, sparkle gone - it brought back the underlying Passe Nati Olho Turco. While I like the result I am left with sort of mmpf over the lost magic.... I cannot tell you how much I had to twist my hand to get the amount of shimmer visible :-S

I cannot let the story end like this, finally Kiss the Sky on its own. You see here three coats of it over Essence XXL Nail Thickener.
