Layla Flash Black

Weather? Grey, dark, murky :-( Nails? Über-holomanic :-)

I started to dip my toes into Layla holographic polishes after I purchased Fnug Aqua Base Coat. Layla holographic polishes come pricey but OMG they're insane!!!

Today I have Layla Flash Black for you - a charcoal VERY strong holo.

You see here three thin coats of Layla Flash Black over Fnug Aqua Base Coat and I used A England The Shield Top Coat. I tested the Top Coat on one nail and could not detect any diminished holo effect. In normal daylight it looks like this:

Before buying the Layla I ordered UP Colors Grafite Night. Below a comparison picture:

Pretty easy, wouldn't you agree? Pinkie and middle finger Layla Flash Black, ring and pointer UP Colors Grafite Night. Two coats of each over Fnug Aqua Base Coat, no Top Coat. Formula wise the Grafite Night was easier to apply. It has a wonderful silky consistency that flows effortlessly on the nail, no matter if you use regular base coat or an aqua base coat.

Have you tried any of the Layla holographic polishes?

I get my Layla polishes from Harlow & Co.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
