I saved the most christmasy polish I got from Nati - the creative mind behind the
Polished Polyglot - as finale of my presentation of my early Christmas gift. Essie Toggle to the Top is just wonderful, it is a dark raspberry crelly base filled with small silver glitter that glows and sparks in red through the vampy base.
I applied two easy coats of Essie Toggle to the Top over Essence Hardening Nail Base. The application of Toggle to the Top is a breeze. The formula is highly pigmented and very creamy - it goes on evenly and smooth onto the nails. Toggle to the Top is a crelly - this and the creamy formula call for some waiting time in-between applying the second coat to prevent polish dragging or pooling. Dry time is normal. Once dry, the surface is rather bumpy due to the load of glitter but my regular Top Coat could smooth the surface perfectly - at least for a day. If you wear it for longer, you will find out, that Toggle to the Top eats the Top Coat away over the duration of a day and another layer of Top Coat might be in place.
Final thoughts: Essie Toggle to the Top reminds me of China Glaze Ruby Slippers - mind you, they are not similar at all, Toggle to the Top looks like its vampy sibling!!! Nati, I cannot thank you enough for your wonderful gift. You choose it with so much thought and love, I am touched to the heart. I am blessed and proud to call you my friend!!!
Thanks for visiting and I am always happy to read your comments!!!
