all of the above pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the bunch below outside in the shade
and in artificial light:
I applied two squishy jellyish coats of Thunderous Sparks over Essence Hardening Nail Base. The balance of a jelly with this amount of shimmer and glitter equals in a perfect formula to be applied smoothly and perfectly easy to control. However, it dries dull and while not gritty it will be hungry for some Top Coat fodder so I applied one coat of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food and then Essence Better Than Gel Nails Top Sealer to finish off with a glossy shine.
Final thoughts: Pahlish Thunderous Sparks is a wonderful everyday polish with a healthy dose of sparkle and shine.
I purchased Pahlish Thunderous Sparks with Pahlish Bigcartel e-shop here.
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

This is so pretty! I love polishes with that ultra voilet-y flash to them. Here's hoping the wear time's good because this is one I'd have to keep on for a couple days ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Liesl, thank you <3!!! Me too - it gives so much sauce to red!!! Now I do need to test the wear part since I did only the swatch - I will let you know :-)
DeleteI love this! It's so juicy! It looks like maraschino cherries!! <3
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa - thank you - oh my one of these days I should start mailing you pictures of my planned posts and asking for food-inspiration - you ARE the queen of food associations!!!! xxx
DeleteOooh it's so squishy and juicy! And with the glitters in there, it kind of looks like jam! So pretty! :D

Hi Yun - YAY fairy-jam that is!!! I particularly like that the glitter gives depth and sparkle in any light!!! xxx
Delete"Tiny winies!" LOL!!! :D Oh my, you are too funny! I love it. :D And this really is a great red polish - classic with a fun sparkly twist, and as everyone else has said, it certainly has that sought after juicy squishyness that we all love in a good jelly. ;) My verdict: I think Thunderous Sparks looks absolutely divine on you!!
ReplyDeleteHi Emily - ehem I admit, I love to pick up those cute words here and there (blushing!!). THANK YOU - what a wonderful verdict :-)!!! I will do a wear test one of these days and keep ya all posted :-) <3
DeleteThis was beautiful! I really loved that the shimmer/glitter appeared blue/purple. I have always thought that blue/purple combined subtle with red/pink are great in polishes. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you my dear Gelic!!! I love that twist and turn in a red polish as well - those spacey little thingies move this red from classic classy to an entirely different level :-)
