Crows Toes One Trick Pony

I realized that I did not post a Crows Toes last week - ooops - I OWE YOU!!!! I have One Trick Pony from the One Hot Summer Collection for you today. It is a dark greyed purple base with peacock holo rainbow. You might wonder why I call it peacock - just scroll down and look at those beautiful colors:

The above pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the below two pictures outdoors in the shade. In the below pictures the purple and green/grey duo chrome shift becomes visible and the polish looks more muted.

All of the above are taken outdoors in the sun, the last two photos below indoors in artificial light

You still with me? Awesome, you made it through all those pictures but I could impossibly cut them down any further. I applied two coats of One Trick Pony over Essence XXL Nail Thickener. I first struggled a bit how much polish I need to load onto the brush to get an even first coat - too thin and you would run out of polish two third into painting your middle finger for example - too much and One Trick Pony might show a tendency to glop. It also becomes gooey if you go over the same area multiple times or paint too slowly but this is due to a huge plus: it is quick drying!!! However evenly and quickly applied the formula is perfect and causes no issues.

Final thoughts: this is one of my most intricate, complex and beautiful polishes I own. I just love the dark vibe of Crows Toes and the always slightly off the edge colors yet "grown up" if you know what I mean. The Collections are never hopping on a trend bandwagon and always stand apart from mainstream.

I ordered Crows Toes One Trick Pony with Llarowe.

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!

Thank you both, Nati and Liesl for your awesome compliment - what can I say? Well thank you both - I am very humbled and I am so glad you like my choices and what I post about here - it means a world to me - bisous for the two of you xxx
