Bourjois In the Navy

Let's intercept the row of eyecatching effects in nail polish and enjoy another awesome cream polish from the Bourjois 1 seconde line:

The above two pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the below outside on an overcast day

I applied one coat of Bourjois In the Navy over Essence XXL Nail Thickener. Now with In The Navy the promise on the label of the bottom that you apply the polish in 1 second is - while still clearly exaggerated - totally true from the aspect that you can really just slap that baby on an you will be ready to leave the house in no time. The formula is perfection as the application as the dry time as the high shine finish!!!

Final thoughts: this was one of the rare occasions where I felt comfortable wearing just one coat of nail polish. This is my kind of blue (like some others - ehem ;-P) and works great as base for glitters since it is evenly opaque at one coat. I was really pleased to discover that the brush of those Bourjois 1 second line is as perfect on nubbins as on longer nails - you see the picture of the brush on the bottle. It is quite short and flat and fans out perfectly on the nail.

I got Bourjois In the Navy from @natacha_wears_a_tutu in our epic nail polish swap!!!

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine

  2. Hi pet! WOW!!! It looks stunning!! EXACT my cup of tea!!! Is it similar to Sephora Will you Jump? I mean color wise because I know Sephora is a jelly and this is a cream. Hope you are having a great evening!! Viele Küsschen!! xxx

    1. Hi doll, thank you so much <3!!! Hmmmm I want to do a comparison of the two but looking at the bottles it seems that Sephora is a smidgen colder and darker if this makes sense to you. Also I think Sephora being a jelly/crelly might alter the final look and add more squishiness. Hope you are having a great Friday - puss, puss xxx

    1. Hi Gelic - aaaaaaah the question of all questions if this is the perfect blue???? I think this is one of the worst questions to be asked and I am afraid I would have about ten polishes right on the top of my head that would deserve this label. However, it is very saturated and vivid and stunning and certainly deserves a seat in the Olymp of the perfect blues.
