My NOTD's of the week

Now that was a loooong week for me. I was back at work on Monday and this week dragged on and on and on.....

Well, the whining aside, I really enjoyed seeing my mates at work again. I got a new working place as well - this time close to a window so after years in the cave I finally have some real daylight - YEAH!!!!

I felt like starting my working year with a truly vampy shade. So Opi Honk If You Love Opi got a go after spending quite some time in my Helmer. I applied two coats of Honk If You Love Opi over Essence XXL Nail Thickener and used Butter London Hardwear as Top Coat. And ooops I forgot to take a picture when the manicure was fresh - hence the tipwear after a day of unpacking boxes and typing :-(

I was not the only one going back to work last Monday - also our post office seemed to have shifted back into gear again: my long awaited nail order from Llarowe arrived that same day. Crows Toes released a new collection called The Pleiades a multi- and duochrome set of polishes. They are sheer and look best when layered over another color - ahhh I am sure you see where this leads to: I added one coat of Crows Toes Merope over Honk If You Love Opi. I was smashed - it is PERFECT:

and on the below picture I wear three coats of Merope on its own on my ring finger.

To move at the other end of the color spectrum I picked Hare Polish Pegasus. This was sitting in my untrieds and I have not even tried how to wear it yet - on its own, layered over a light grey or a soft lilac? So no easy slap and go - I thought.....

..... were you able to see it in the picture? I left the various "testing" versions on my nails and walked the planet carrying off a subtle skittle. I used Zoya Kendal on my pinkie, index and thumb as base color. On my middle finger I applied one coat of Zoya Carey as base color and the ring finger are three coats of Hare Polish Pegasus on its own. On all other nails I applied one coat of Pegasus. Base Coat: Essence XXL Nail Thickener, Top Coat: Butter London Hardwear.

By now we look at my Friday mani. I wore Opi The Spy Who Loved Me to get a cheerful and happy color on my nails. I applied two coats of The Spy Who Loved Me over Nail Nation 3000 green Base Coat and used Nail Nation 45 seconds Top Coat as finish.

One of my favorite online polish watering holes is Pshiiit Boutique . Camille offers all those wonderful Nfu Oh polishes and I gradually built a nice collection of them. BUT my last mani of the week is not a flakie - Pshiiit Boutique now also has Nfu Oh's Winter Glitter in stock and when I saw them I suffered a severe attack of order-mania. Please meet Nfu Oh Winter Glitter XW05 - i.e. small, round, blue glitter bomb. I applied two coats of XW05 over Nfu Oh 119 - a beautiful dark blue jelly. Again I used Essence XXL Nail Thickener as Base Coat and needed two coats of Butter London Hardwear Top Coat.

Phew that were quite a few manis this week!!!! My usual Sunday question: any favorites among them?

I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for visiting!!!
Christine
