I applied two coats of Above the Curve Tardis over Butter London Patent-Gel Base Coat. While applying the first coat you might think OMG this is SOOO sheer - you will be proven wrong! When adding the second coat you might think OMG BRUSH-STROKES - again you will be proven wrong, Tardis is perfectly self leveling - gasp!!! Dry time is quick (in case some of you wondered). As you can see this is quite a shade shifter depending on the light. The metallic shimmer that is quite prominent indoors takes some steps back in the sun. The holo effect is slightly stronger IRL.
Final thoughts: Above the Curve Tardis is one spectacular teal number, holy cow, I am floored! As the one or the other reader might guess, my stash is vast and still, Tardis is totally unique :-o!!!
I ordered Above the Curve Tardis with Pshiiit Boutiqe.
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for stopping by!!!

Wow this looks really cool! I can understand why you are floored ;-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Ananka, I first hoped for some more holo but with this metallic shine, the color shift and all more holo might have been over the top. And as said, seeing it on my nails left me gaping - LOL
DeleteI'm still waiting on a grand total count of your collection. :D This is really pretty...in the first couple of shots, the color reminded me of Zoya Crystal, but in the last shot, it's obviously teal. I LOVE scattered holos in teal.
ReplyDeleteThank you Melissa - Oh I plead for a veil of mercy over the grand total of my polishes - it is two Helmers and one Alex nearly filled. I was a bit disappointed to not get as much teal in the sun - what a great hint, I think Crystal and Tardis certainly belong to the same family. Note to self: do a comparison. xxx
DeleteNever heard of Above the curve but I love it!
ReplyDeleteLOL at OMG BRUSH-STROKES!!
Thank you hon <3! I stumbled over it over at Pointless Cafe and was smitten by the colors. ;-P re brushstrokes - haven't we all been there?
