I applied two coats of Picture Polish Moody Blues over Essence Hardening Nail Base. Frankly, I would not be surprised if you get bored about my praise about Picture Polish formulas but what can I say? The formula of Moody Blues is superb, creamy and rather pigmented. Two coats are definitely needed to achieve the deep opacity this baby needs for shifting into full gear. It dries relatively quick to the touch but beware - it takes some more time to dry thoroughly, I know from experience, I smeared the polish on my index badly - luckily only AFTER I took all the pictures.
Final thoughts: Picture Polish Moody Blues is smack in the line with the three other Collaboration shades. Due to the green shimmer, Moody Blues tends to look more teal than blue and honestly, I could not detect too many red dots on my nails. Maybe I just didn't shake the bottle well enough…. Once more I am delighted about a Picture Polish Collaboration Shade - what an awesome job Polly Polish, thank you for gifting us with this beauty!!!
I ordered Picture Polish Moody Blues with Harlow & Co..
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for stoping by :-)

What a gorgeous shade! This is such a fantastic blue and it looks stunning on you. You're right I wouldn't have guessed there was red shimmer unless I read your words, looking closely I can see them in the bottle though... weird.

Something about this reminds me of Zoya Charla (and all its reiterations). I feel like the red flecks are errant but then again it's not my vision and it surely makes this polish unique ♥ As always, you wear this shade beautifully, sis!
ReplyDeleteI love this sooo much! I know I have nothing like it in my collection. I love the shade of blue...so unique!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you like it :)
