Holographic polishes have become my favorite finish in the course of this year and the launch of Colors by Llarowe certainly contributed its share with unique and beautiful holos. Oh Christmas Tree is part of Colors by Llarowe Holiday 2013 collection and is a dark green leaning teal with a holo rainbow that runs from blue to turquoise to gold and brown, under certain lights red while leaving the edges in black. Confused? Well I understand, what a complicated description, but just look at the photos and maybe my words make some sense afterwards ;-)
the above pictures are taken indoors in daylight, the below photos outside in the sun
in artificial light
Two thin coats of Colors by Llarowe Oh Christmas Tree over Essence Hardening Nail Base. The description of the formula and application is as simple as it can get: PERFECTION - buttery, creamy, highly pigmented. Dry time is short and my Top Coat didn't diminish any of the holomania.
Final thoughts: This is another one in a by now quite long line of unique holo polishes created by Leah Ann from Llarowe. I just cannot get enough of her polishes!!!
I look forward to reading your comments - thanks for stopping by!!!
Christine
I don't have this one, its pretty...I do Have many other CbLs and love them, they are very pigmented.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much - oh how exiting - you are a CbL fan too? I just love Leah Ann's polishes, so unique in color and superb in quality!!!
DeleteBeautiful! I love teal holos, and this is no exception. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you dear Melissa :-) - I saw that it's teal only after application. The promo picture was so intensely holo, I could not see the base color - LOL
DeleteAgain, a gorgeous color. I'm so happy I got lucky at yesterday's CbL restock :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you and how exiting - I am so curious what you got for yourself!!! I actually skipped it - let's see when polish regret kicks in ;-)

Hi Ina - I know the sun-thing, though here it's quite sunny (except today) though there is little I can benefit from, sitting in an office all day but luckily CbL holos play crazy in artificial light too :-)
DeleteOooh look at that holographic effect! Love it :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Melissa <3
